Over the weekend of the 29th & 30th September 2018, W.Bro. Richard Barnett from Granite Lodge, along with other members of the Province of Leicestershire & Rutland cycled an amazing 150 mile to raise money for Rainbows and the 2022 Festival. Taking in all of the Masonic Hall's within the Province, the cyclists took off from Freemasons' Hall, Leicester on the Saturday morning, and made their way to Loughborough, Ashby De La Zouch, Coalville, Hinckley and Lutterworth before ending the days riding at 75 miles.
The second day again began at Freemasons' Hall in Leicester, and moved onto Market Harborough, Uppingham, Oakham, Melton Mowbray, Syston and then back to Leicester. The weather was kind to the team, who made it safely round Province, raising over £6,000 for the worthy causes.
