The sun was shining on the Leicestershire village of Barkby on Saturday 29th September as the Worshipful Master of Granite Lodge No.2028 hosted guests at his house for a Masonic BBQ.
Over eighty guests enjoyed the food, fun, and festivities throughout the day, with entertainment for all ages organised by Worshipful Brother Mark Stewart-Halford and his family.
As night began to fall, the gazebo was packed as the music quiz drew people together for a spot of friendly rivalry as TV theme tunes from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s were played out by the quiz master.
Not too be left out, the children had their turn with a balloon race, with results so far coming in from far and wide. And finally for all of the family, fireworks were laid on by Brother Perry Steward-Halford as the evening drew to a close.
The Master of Granite Lodge, Worshipful Brother Mark Stewart-Halford expressed heartfelt gratitude to all those who attended in support of his chosen charity, the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
