On the 8th March 2017, members of the Lodge made the annual trip for the Quarterly Communication at Grand Lodge, Great Queens Street, London.
The morning started off well with a train trip into London, arriving at Grand Lodge in a timely fashion. Proceedings were completed by just after lunch, allowing those of us in attendance to sample some of the fine ales on offer in our nations capital. Starting off at the Jamaica Wine House, near to the Bank of England before moving on to the Counting House for a spot of lunch. Soon after, we sampled the hospitality at several other pubs, including "The Old Doctor Butler's Head" the "Old Red Cow", and the "Craft Beer Company Clerkenwell" before starting the journey home, stopping off on the way at "The Lamb" and the "North Sea Fish Restaurant".
To round off the evening, after arriving back in Leicester, a quick pit stop in "The Parcel Yard" and then homeward bound.
A jolly good time was had by all!
